One of the most discussed moments from Bad Bunny’s halftime performance at Super Bowl 60 was when the Puerto Rican singer handed a Grammy award to a young boy on stage. This gesture sparked speculation online about the identity of the child.
Some entertainment outlets in the United States, such as TMZ, suggested that the boy was Liam Ramos, an Ecuadorian child who had been detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in Minneapolis on January 22. However, other media organizations, including The Hollywood Reporter and The Athletic—part of The New York Times—reported that this was not accurate.
A spokesperson for the National Football League (NFL) told The New York Times that these rumors were completely false. According to NFL sources, the boy who appeared with Bad Bunny was actually a young actor.
The W Group talent agency confirmed on its Instagram account (@twgtalentagency) that the child is Lincoln Fox, a five-year-old who is half Argentine and half Egyptian. Lincoln Fox also posted his thanks to Bad Bunny on his own Instagram account (@the_lincfox), writing: “I will remember this day forever. It was a true honor.”
