Banco de Costa Rica (BCR) announced on April 17 that it is participating in the thirteenth edition of ExpoPyme 2026, offering a range of products, services, and financial tools to support micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises. The event runs from April 17 to April 19 at the Antigua Aduana.

The bank’s presence at ExpoPyme aims to provide business owners with expert advice on payment solutions, digital collection systems, insurance options, loans, and other banking services. BCR representatives are available at their stand throughout the event to answer questions and help businesses find suitable financial support.

BCR said its Pyme program addresses the specific needs of these businesses by offering integrated products such as financial advice, technical support, training sessions, and participation in events like this fair. During ExpoPyme 2026, BCR is promoting two financing options: ‘AceleraciĂłn de empresas BCR,’ which provides loans in colones or dollars with various types of guarantees for up to twenty years; and a debt consolidation credit designed specifically for small business operations with similar terms.

Additional benefits offered during the fair include discounts on formalization fees depending on credit line depth. The first one hundred approved requests will also receive exemptions from professional fees and reimbursement of appraisal costs. Information about requirements for these credits can be found through BCR’s official website or by contacting pyme@bancobcr.com.

ExpoPyme 2026 is organized by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Commerce (MEIC), featuring around two hundred fifty stands where companies showcase their products and services.
