Banco Popular de Costa Rica promoted the benefits of its credit and debit cards in a series of posts on September 26, 2025. The bank highlighted exclusive discounts, monthly savings opportunities, and nationwide advantages for cardholders.

In the first post at 17:02 UTC, Banco Popular stated, “Con las Tarjetas del Banco Popular, cada compra puede costarle menos. ​ Aproveche descuentos exclusivos en comercios aliados y disfrute más por menos.”

A minute later, the bank added another message encouraging customers to use their cards to maximize savings: ” Use su Tarjeta de Crédito o Débito para acceder a promociones especiales y acumular ahorros mes a mes.​ Porque cada descuento cuenta.”

In a third post published at the same time, Banco Popular described the variety of businesses where cardholders can benefit: ” Restaurantes, tiendas, supermercados, entretenimiento y mucho más…​ Sus Tarjetas BP le abren la puerta a beneficios en todo el país.”

Banco Popular is one of Costa Rica’s major financial institutions and regularly promotes products aimed at increasing customer engagement through incentives such as discounts and special offers. The bank’s initiatives are part of broader efforts within the country’s banking sector to encourage digital payments and provide value-added services to clients.
