Banco Popular de Costa Rica has shared a series of instructions on its official X account, guiding customers on how to add their cards to Apple Pay. The posts, published on September 1, 2025, detail the steps required both through the bank’s app and directly from an iPhone.

In the first post at 20:14 UTC, Banco Popular explained: ” Desde la App del Banco Popular:
Abra la app BP.
En el menú, seleccione ‘Tarjetas’.
Escoja ‘Afiliar a Apple Pay’.
Haga clic en ‘Agregar a Apple Wallet’ bajo cada Tarjeta. ¡Listo!”

A subsequent post at 20:14 UTC outlined the process for iPhone users: ” En su iPhone:
Abra la app Wallet.
Toque el signo “+”.
Siga las instrucciones para agregar su tarjeta a Apple Pay. ¡Así de simple! “

The third message, posted at 20:16 UTC, highlighted the benefits of using the service: “¡Y ya está listo para disfrutar de la comodidad de Apple Pay! Pague de manera rápida y segura desde su iPhone ¿Qué espera para afiliarse? “
