Body of woman found at Junquillal Beach in Guanacaste

The body of a woman was found on the night of Saturday, January 31, at the estuary of Junquillal Beach in Santa Cruz, Guanacaste province.

A police source told La Nación that the deceased is believed to be a woman between 30 and 35 years old. The body had to be moved to a safe location due to rising tides.

At this time, the cause of death remains unknown. Judicial authorities are expected to recover the body and begin an investigation to clarify what happened.
