The Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MOPT), through the Roadway and Bridge Conservation Management of CONAVI, will begin maintenance work on the modular bridge over the Reventado River in Guadalupe de Cartago. This work requires a complete closure to traffic for about 200 meters along the Travesía Route where the bridge is located.

The closure and maintenance activities are scheduled to start at 6:00 a.m. on Friday, September 26, and will continue until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, September 29. The affected section extends from the northern access to Condominio Hacienda El Rey up to near Hogar de Ancianos Manos de Jesús.

Routine maintenance, cleaning, and improvements to the height restriction frame are included in this project. The work will be carried out by Constructora Santa Fe with an estimated investment of ₡5,221,805.37.

Authorities have asked users of this route to pay attention to the closure, respect signage placed in the work area, and use alternative routes.
