A separate post from the same date detailed Costa Rica’s partnerships with other nations and organizations: “El país ha consolidado alianzas estratégicas con socios como , , y , a través de mecanismos como AMERIPOL y el Tratado de San José, así como iniciativas birregionales y cooperación con para proteger fronteras, combatir la ciberdelincuencia y enfrentar el narcotráfico.” (February 14, 2026).

Later that day, Cancillería Costa Rica issued condolences regarding a tragedy in Canada: “Costa Rica expresa sus sentidas condolencias al pueblo y al Gobierno de Canadá por los fallecimientos ocasionados por el tiroteo masivo en la Escuela Secundaria de Tumbler Ridge; y se suma a las muestras de solidaridad con las familias de las víctimas de este lamentable suceso” (February 14, 2026).

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs regularly communicates Costa Rica’s foreign policy positions and responses to global incidents.
