Later that day, another post stated: “Costa Rica propuso una hoja de ruta conjunta, mayor cooperación en cambio climático, ambiente, salud y educación, y destacó el liderazgo de Ghana en África.”

On March 22, the ministry emphasized multilateral engagement and gender equality at the United Nations: ” Costa Rica reafirma su compromiso con la #CELAC y apuesta por el liderazgo femenino en la Organización de las Naciones Unidas. https://t.co/iBu6LTGjU8″

Costa Rica’s foreign policy has prioritized multilateralism and South-South cooperation in recent years. CELAC (Community of Latin American and Caribbean States) is an intergovernmental mechanism for dialogue and political agreement among Latin American and Caribbean countries. The referenced meeting aligns with ongoing efforts to strengthen ties between Latin America and Africa through initiatives such as CELAC-Africa forums.
