Costa Rica reiteró su solicitud de apoyo a Rebeca Grynspan para la Secretaría General de la ONU.” The tweet emphasizes shared priorities between the two countries in sustainability, tourism, and multilateralism, as well as an interest in cooperation in innovation and academia. It also notes Costa Rica’s renewed request for support for Rebeca Grynspan’s candidacy for Secretary-General of the United Nations.

On April 18, 2026, the ministry provided an update on a high-level meeting: “El canciller Dr. Arnoldo André sostuvo un encuentro con la ministra de Estado de Singapur, Gan Siow Huang, para fortalecer el diálogo bilateral.” This post describes a meeting between Costa Rican Foreign Minister Dr. Arnoldo André and Singapore’s Minister of State Gan Siow Huang aimed at strengthening bilateral dialogue.

A subsequent message posted the same day further detailed the outcomes: “Ambos países coincidieron en ampliar la cooperación en comercio, transformación digital, sostenibilidad, educación e innovación, e impulsar una relación bilateral más estructurada.”

Costa Rica and Singapore have previously collaborated on issues such as trade facilitation and sustainable development through international forums like the United Nations and World Trade Organization. Both countries are recognized for their focus on education reform and digital transformation initiatives.
