Later that day, the ministry provided details about a bilateral meeting with Panama: “En la reunión bilateral , el canciller Arnoldo André y su homólogo Javier Martínez-Acha repasaron temas de interés común y los próximos pasos de la sólida agenda bilateral.” This statement refers to discussions between Costa Rica’s foreign minister and his Panamanian counterpart regarding shared interests and future steps in their bilateral agenda.
Additionally, Cancillería Costa Rica highlighted the presence of Rebeca Grynspan, the Costa Rican candidate for Secretary-General of the United Nations. CELAC (Community of Latin American and Caribbean States) is an intergovernmental mechanism for dialogue and political agreement among Latin American and Caribbean countries.
