Chef Sophia Rodríguez shared on Apr. 9 her experience of physical transformation following the birth of her daughter Juliana. Rodríguez said she gained 11 kilograms during pregnancy and decided to focus on improving her health through exercise and personal care routines.

Rodríguez, who is well known in Costa Rica, often posts about her family life and wellness journey on social media. She has become a guide for followers interested in well-being by sharing details from her own experience.

In a recent post, Rodríguez revealed the progress she made over two years and seven months since giving birth. She published photos and videos documenting the changes in her body composition, highlighting that her body fat levels were initially very high after pregnancy.

Rodríguez wrote, “Vos sos la única que puede hacer el cambio para volverte a encontrar o inclusive conocer una mejor versión tuya. Sos la única que puede vivir y celebrar los beneficios que ser disciplinada y constante te van a traer.” In another before-and-after photo, she added: “Le diste vida a otra persona y te merecés retomar la tuya. Lo hacés por vos y por disfrutar de calidad de vida con tus hijos.”

She encouraged others to give themselves an opportunity to experience positive changes not only in their bodies but also in their energy levels and mood. On Instagram, Rodríguez also shared links to videos and instructors she uses at home for exercise routines.

Her story aims to inspire others facing similar challenges after pregnancy to prioritize their health.
