Claudia Dobles, presidential candidate for the Coalición Agenda Ciudadana (CAC), appeared at TD Más’s “El Antidebate” event wearing a locally designed jacket. The garment, created by Costa Rican designers Toribio & Donato, is part of their limited capsule collection called Rostros.

The jacket was made from recycled royal blue silk and features a brooch crafted using upcycling techniques. According to designer Óscar Toribio Hernández, “She always supports national design and on this occasion wears a jacket from our collection.”

During her tenure as First Lady, Dobles frequently collaborated with local designers and often wore clothing produced by Costa Rican talent.

Limited-edition collections like the one Dobles wore are possible because they use recycled materials, which restricts the number of pieces that can be produced.
