At the IntraLogisteX USA 2025 event held in Miami, Florida, Marco Matouk, Senior Director of Transformation at Corporación Multi Inversiones (CMI), delivered a presentation on strategies for building resilient and sustainable food supply chains. The conference is recognized as an important forum for logistics, automation, and supply chain topics.

Matouk’s talk, titled “Transforming with Purpose: Building Resilient and Sustainable Food Supply Chains,” focused on how companies can address current challenges in the food sector while maintaining sustainability and community engagement. He outlined three main pillars for strengthening supply chains: rethinking logistics to ensure flexibility and long-term growth; adopting structures that allow anticipation and adaptation to global disruptions; and integrating the principles of People, Planet, and Profit into logistics transformation.

According to Matouk, “it is valuable to integrate the approach of People, Planet, and Profit in logistics transformation and demonstrate that sustainability does not conflict with efficiency but becomes a factor of competitiveness and differentiation.” He also highlighted the importance of balancing cost, environmental impact, customer satisfaction, and employee commitment. Matouk emphasized transformational leadership as a driver of innovation and organizational culture.

The participation of CMI Alimentos at IntraLogisteX USA 2025 underlines the company’s focus on innovation, sustainability, and developing value chains that support economic, social, and environmental well-being in its markets. The event featured over 30 conferences and facilitated networking among industry leaders and technology providers.

With this involvement, CMI reiterates its active role in discussions about the future of food supply chains. The company maintains that resilience and sustainability are now essential components of business growth.

CMI is currently led by third-generation family members Juan José Gutiérrez Mayorga as Chairman of CMI Alimentos and Felipe Bosch Gutiérrez as Chairman of CMI Capital. Both reaffirm their commitment to investing in sustainable development through programs that encourage entrepreneurship.
