CoopeAgri hosts Día de Campo 2025 to support regional coffee production

CoopeAgri R.L. held its Día de Campo 2025 at Beneficio La Ceniza, bringing together coffee producers, sector specialists, and strategic partners. The event aimed to provide updated technical tools to regional coffee growers.

Jonathan Durán, International Sales Manager at CoopeAgri, gave an analysis of the global coffee market. He addressed the challenges faced by producers due to international price fluctuations and emphasized the need to diversify marketing strategies.

Ing. Martín Hidalgo Rodríguez, Technical Manager at ICAFE, discussed progress in research on late-maturing coffee varieties. According to him, these developments are key for improving productivity and adapting crops in response to climate change.

Ing. Marconi Alvares, Regional Technical Agronomic Manager at FERTICA, spoke about soil health and its effect on coffee nutrition. He highlighted sustainable practices that improve soil fertility and crop yield.

The event also included practical stations focused on biological proposals and innovative solutions for crop management.
