CoopeTarrazú has approved a comprehensive reform of its bylaws during an extraordinary assembly. The cooperative stated that the updated document is designed to be modern, organized, and accessible, aligning with current cooperative law.

Prior to the vote, a detailed document outlining all proposed changes was distributed to each delegate. Open meetings were also held to address questions and ensure participation and access to information before the decision.

According to CoopeTarrazú, “Los cambios aprobados permitirán a la Cooperativa contar con un estatuto más claro y adaptado a los tiempos actuales.”

The main goals of the reform include modernizing processes, strengthening internal democracy, and creating a regulatory framework that supports greater transparency and order in management. The cooperative says these measures reaffirm its leadership in the sector and establish a foundation for continued organized and transparent work for the benefit of its more than 4,500 member producers.
