CoopeTarrazú hosted the Jornada de Café Regenerativo 2025, a two-day event that brought together coffee producers, academic representatives, and institutional partners to discuss the challenges and opportunities of regenerative coffee farming.

Experts presented talks and participated in forums on topics such as soil health, shade management, bioeconomy, commercialization, and new technologies applied to coffee production.

One panel focused on shade management. Dagoberto Arias, a forestry engineer, emphasized the importance of adopting a regenerative approach.

The event also included the renewal of a collaboration agreement with the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica (TEC) and acknowledged support from the Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR) and Fundación CRUSA for their contributions to the event’s success.
