TrichoFecunda, a product developed by Coopetarrazú, uses selected strains of the Trichoderma fungus known for their agricultural benefits. The product is designed to colonize soil and plant rhizospheres, offering advantages such as improved soil health and protection against plant diseases.

According to Coopetarrazú, TrichoFecunda can be applied to a wide range of crops. Application recommendations include using the product during soil preparation at planting time to ensure effective root colonization. Periodic applications throughout the crop cycle are advised to maintain high populations of Trichoderma in the soil. For second harvests, applying TrichoFecunda helps decompose crop residues and prevents the buildup of pathogens.

Coopetarrazú states that using TrichoFecunda supports sustainable agriculture by reducing reliance on chemical fungicides, which in turn lessens soil and water contamination. The cooperative also notes that improving soil health through this method promotes a balanced environment where plants can grow well.

The cooperative highlights that adopting this product may help farmers increase productivity while supporting environmental preservation and ecosystem sustainability.
