Corporación Multi Inversiones (CMI), a family-owned multilatina corporation with over 105 years of history, recently shared updates on its operations and initiatives through its official X account. The posts highlight the company’s longstanding presence in 15 countries, its focus on community value creation, and new developments in energy and education.

On February 3, 2026, CMI stated: “Con más de 105 años de historia y presencia en 15 países, generamos valor integral en las comunidades donde operamos, ofreciendo excelencia y calidad en todos nuestros productos y servicios.​ Conoce más sobre CMI aquí: https://t.co/3hf0tDn8ka ​ #SomosCMI”.

The following day, CMI highlighted recognition for its corporate university laUcmi: “. @RevistaSumma destaca a laUcmi en su especial de educación superior 2026. ​ A través de nuestra universidad corporativa, laUcmi, fortalecemos la competitividad, eficiencia y sostenibilidad de nuestras operaciones, con un enfoque en el liderazgo que prepara a nuestros” (posted February 4, 2026).

Later that same day, the company announced progress in renewable energy projects in Guatemala: “En CMI seguimos impulsando la transformación energética de Guatemala. ️ Desde CMI Energía celebramos la puesta en operación de Fénix 1, nuestra nueva planta solar ubicada en Masagua, Escuintla. Además, junto a socios estratégicos, inauguramos Fénix 2, en Taxisco, Santa Rosa.” (February 4, 2026).

Corporación Multi Inversiones began as a small store in Guatemala in 1920 and has grown to employ more than 54,000 people across its operations. The company is known for providing products and solutions within the food and capital sectors—including renewable energy and real estate development—with an emphasis on sustainable development (official website). According to corporate materials, CMI prioritizes generating economic, social and environmental value in the communities it serves.
