Costa Rica’s foreign minister Arnoldo André attends Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Türkiye

The Costa Rican Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through its official account Cancillería Costa Rica , reported on April 18, 2026, that Dr. Arnoldo André, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship, participated in the Fifth Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF), a major Eurasian event with international reach held in Türkiye. In its post, the ministry stated: “El ministro de Relaciones Exteriores y Culto, Dr. Arnoldo André, participó en el Quinto @AntalyaDF, uno de los encuentros más relevantes de Euroasia con alcance internacional, celebrado en Türkiye.” (April 18, 2026).

In a subsequent message on the same day, the ministry emphasized Dr. André’s remarks at the forum regarding global cooperation and regional leadership: “Destacó la importancia de actuar con realismo, fortalecer el multilateralismo y posicionar a América Latina y el Caribe como actores clave en el escenario global.” (April 18, 2026).

Additionally, Cancillería Costa Rica noted a bilateral meeting between Dr. André and his Turkish counterpart during the event: ” En el marco del 5º Foro @AntalyaDF, el canciller Dr. Arnoldo André se reunió con su homólogo de Türkiye, Hakan Fidan.” (April 18, 2026).

The Antalya Diplomacy Forum is recognized as a significant platform for dialogue among countries from different regions to address international challenges and promote diplomatic engagement.
