Celeste Rodríguez, a Costa Rican content creator, experienced snow for the first time during a trip to Madrid, Spain. She shared an emotional video on social media that captured the unexpected snowfall and described it as a gift from life.
The video recorded the moment when the snow began unexpectedly. Rodríguez expressed her surprise and excitement upon seeing the first snowflakes fall in front of her. In the video, she said: “¡Ah!, no puede ser. Eso que está cayendo es nieve, se lo juro que no lo creo. Sí, es nieve. No lo puedo creer.”
She continued to express disbelief at the phenomenon since weather forecasts had not predicted snow for that day. “Me voy mañana y no había caído nieve en todos estos días. En Madrid se suponía que tenía que subir a un cerro para ir a verla,” Rodríguez said while showing the snowy landscape.
According to Rodríguez, snow and rain fell continuously for about an hour. She commented: “Lluvia y nieve cayeron durante una hora. El carro está lleno de nieve. Se lo juro, no tenía que caer nieve, cayó de la nada,” as she filmed her surroundings.
Rodríguez saw this event as something unexpected and meaningful. “La vida me mandó este regalo y yo estoy demasiado agradecida. No tengo nada más que decir. De verdad es una locura,” she concluded.
She was visibly moved by the experience and documented it with tears in her eyes on video. Her boyfriend, streamer Keiz, was also present and enjoyed the surprise snowfall with her.
