Costa Rican influencer Fefi has shared details about her difficult relationship with a former partner, describing the experience as negative and superficial. Known for her presence on TikTok, Fefi recounted how the relationship quickly escalated in seriousness despite only dating for a short time.

“Me terminaron por mensaje y no por infiel ni por tóxica,” she said at the start of her video testimony. She explained that after just one month together, her ex-boyfriend was already asking if she had completed the Catholic sacrament of confirmation, which is required for marriage in the church. Yo apenas estaba confirmando si me estaba gustando,” Fefi commented.

During an Easter trip to the beach with her ex-partner’s family and friends—a group she described as focused on appearances—Fefi felt out of place. She recalled being asked about which school she attended and overhearing frequent conversations about a yacht. She said that when invited onto the yacht, she was told to bring several swimsuits for photos.

She also noted comments from other men telling their girlfriends not to eat certain foods because they would gain weight: “Y lo peor, los amigos le decían a sus novias: ‘Eso no coma, eso engorda, mejor pida ensalada’. Yo no sabía si pedir comida o si pedir auxilio.

Another incident involved her ex-boyfriend asking her to change dresses before a party and wear contact lenses instead of glasses because he did not like how she looked with them on.

Fefi—who also goes by Marifegamo—said that at one point during their relationship, her partner expressed that if they had children together she would be expected to stay home rather than work.

The end of their relationship came abruptly when he stopped communicating while staying with friends and an ex-girlfriend in Punta Leona. “Para peores, desaparece. Desde el miércoles hasta el viernes desapareció. Yo mandaba mensajes de buenos días, buenas noches, ¿cómo estás?… Y no me respondían.

She ultimately received a long message ending the relationship while out with her sister at a restaurant; he cited “bipolaridad” as his reason for breaking up.
