During a rehearsal for the show “Mira quién baila,” dancer Lucía Jiménez suffered an injury to her left eye. The incident occurred on Thursday, September 25, when Jiménez was placing a bag in the corner of the rehearsal room and struck the lower part of her left eye against an exposed metal edge.

Images shared by the program show that the impact caused a noticeable bruise and a fissure in the area commonly referred to as the “eye bag.” Jiménez posted updates on her Instagram stories, displaying the injury and explaining her condition to followers.

She also reassured fans about her recovery: “ojiazul sigue intacto y con muchas ganas de bailar.” Jiménez joked that while she will need to rest, her dance partner will have extra work: “Él no debe descansar.

Jiménez thanked those who expressed concern and confirmed she plans to return to perform as usual on Sunday.
