The Cooperativa Dos Pinos has recently made two donations as part of its ongoing efforts to support social welfare and nutrition in Costa Rica.

One initiative, called the “Carrera de la Leche,” involved hundreds of runners whose participation enabled the donation of over 17,500 glasses of milk to three social organizations: Hogar de Ancianos Santiago Crespo, Fundación Trasciende, and Cartago se Guatea. These contributions were aimed at supporting the nutrition of children, youth, older adults, and people experiencing homelessness.

In another campaign marking World Down Syndrome Day, Dos Pinos introduced a special edition product called the Duopack Extraordinario. This product was designed to promote diversity and inclusion. As part of this effort, the cooperative made a symbolic donation of 2 million colones to the Fundación Yo puedo ¿Y vos?.

According to Dos Pinos, “The Duopack included unique combinations with the goal of promoting diversity, encouraging the idea that our differences enrich us and make us stronger as a society.”

These actions reflect Dos Pinos’ commitment to community well-being through nutritional support and advocacy for inclusion.
