Dos Pinos, a Costa Rican cooperative, has been recognized for the fifth consecutive year as the company with the best corporate reputation in Costa Rica, according to the 2025 Corporate Reputation Business Monitor (Merco). The cooperative has also established itself as a leader in sustainability, talent management, and responsible communication in the country.
The organization attributes these achievements to its sustainable management model, which emphasizes the well-being of people, innovation, and the creation of shared value.
“These recognitions reflect the daily work we do at Dos Pinos to generate comprehensive well-being and strengthen the trust of Costa Ricans in a national company that drives development, innovation, and sustainability. Our commitment is to continue advancing with a cooperative purpose, generating value from the farm to the consumer,” said Marina Rodríguez, Director of Corporate Relations and Sustainability at Dos Pinos.
The cooperative was also recognized as having the best communications team in Costa Rica. “This recognition inspires us to continue delivering information truthfully and promptly to our audiences and to keep sharing these success stories with the media,” said Sofía Valverde, Communications and Community Relations Manager at Dos Pinos.
In terms of sustainability, Dos Pinos ranked in the Top 3 among the most responsible companies in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria. Earlier this year, it also achieved first place in talent attraction and retention rankings.
The Merco recognition highlights Dos Pinos’ history as an organization that blends tradition, innovation, and cooperative purpose. The cooperative’s management board and general management have focused on promoting comprehensive well-being, purposeful leadership, and strengthening trust in national brands.
