Douglas Sánchez and Jorge Obando announced on March 16 that they are leaving the program ‘El octavo mandamiento’ on ¡Opa! Canal 38. The announcement was made during the evening broadcast, which aired at 9 p.m.
The departure of both presenters marks a significant change for the show, as Sánchez and Obando have worked together since its inception. Their decision to leave follows a request from the channel’s general management to make changes in the hosting team.
Sánchez explained that he originally designed the program, including its format and topics.
Sánchez also noted that the program will continue with new hosts and wished success to those who will replace them.
Obando thanked viewers for their support and acknowledged the efforts of the production team. Punto. Ahí se acaba la conversación. Desearle lo mejor al programa.”
