The National ExpoTÉCNICA 2025 will bring together students from technical and professional education institutions across the country to showcase creative solutions to current challenges. The event is organized by the Directorate of Technical Education and Entrepreneurial Skills of the Ministry of Public Education. It marks the conclusion of a training process aimed at developing technical, creative, and socio-emotional skills.

Projects will compete in two categories: STEAM Challenge and Entrepreneurship and Innovation. These categories integrate knowledge from science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics, and project management.

For its 2025 edition, ExpoTÉCNICA will feature participation from educational centers in all regions of the country. This includes Professional Technical Colleges, Community Education Professional Institutes (IPEC), and Integrated Adult Education Centers (CINDEA). A total of 64 projects were selected to represent their educational institutions after passing institutional and regional stages. Specialized juries in various fields such as engineering, design, and business management evaluated these projects.

The public is invited to attend the student fair starting with an opening ceremony on November 25 at 2:00 p.m., held at the Professional Technical College of Santo Domingo de Heredia. The exhibition of projects will be open on November 27 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., concluding with an awards ceremony on November 28 at 9:00 a.m.
