The family of Yamil Jesús Calderón Contreras, an engineer and brother-in-law of former football player and current coach Luis Marín, reported him missing on Monday night. Relatives filed a report at the local office of the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ) in Cartago after losing all contact with Calderón Contreras, which they described as unusual.

Calderón Contreras, 41, works as a computer engineer for a company in Heredia. According to his family, he commutes daily from Cartago to Heredia for work and typically returns home in the evening. On Monday, however, he did not return as expected or communicate with his family for several hours, prompting concern.

Authorities have asked anyone with information that could help locate Calderón Contreras to contact the confidential line at 800-8000-645.
