American actress and bodybuilder Jayne Trcka, best known for her role as Miss Mann in the 2000 comedy “Scary Movie,” died on December 12 at her home in San Diego. Her death was confirmed by her son to TMZ.

According to a police report cited by TMZ, a friend of Trcka had tried to contact her several times in the days before she was found dead. After receiving no response, the friend went to Trcka’s residence and discovered her unconscious in the kitchen. Emergency services were called and pronounced Trcka dead at the scene.

The San Diego County Medical Examiner also confirmed her death but stated that the cause is still under investigation. Trcka’s son said he was not aware of any previous illness or medical condition that could have led to her death.

Trcka, aged 62, began her career as a bodybuilder in the 1980s and competed in various contests before moving into acting. Her performance in “Scary Movie” led to appearances on television shows such as “The Drew Carey Show” and “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” In addition to her entertainment work, she worked as a real estate agent in California and appeared in fitness magazines including Flex, MuscleMag International, and Women’s Physique World.

Her death has prompted reactions from colleagues and fans who remember her for both her charisma and presence in sports and entertainment.
