Sports journalist and former Teletica Deportes figure Fabián Borbón said on April 11 that he recently faced a difficult family situation, sharing on his Instagram account that his mother’s life was in serious danger due to medical complications.

Borbón, who is currently the press chief at Sporting, did not provide details about his mother’s condition but focused instead on expressing gratitude to those who supported her recovery. The journalist highlighted the importance of medical professionals during challenging times for families.

In a message posted to Instagram, Borbón wrote: “Quiero agradecer profundamente a doctores y enfermeros del Hospital de Heredia por salvarle la vida a mi madre y cuidarla todos estos días. ¡Qué Dios los bendiga! Son ángeles en la tierra.”

The post reflected Borbón’s appreciation for the doctors and nurses at Hospital de Heredia, whom he credited with saving his mother’s life and caring for her throughout her ordeal. He described them as angels on earth.

Borbón’s public acknowledgment comes as many families rely on healthcare workers during emergencies. His comments serve as a reminder of the vital role played by hospital staff in supporting patients and their loved ones through critical situations.
