The Junta de Protección Social announced on April 13 the results of the ordinary draw number 4,896 of the National Lottery, held on April 12. The top prize for this draw is ¢175 million per full ticket.

The announcement matters to many who participate in the lottery and look forward to the possibility of winning significant cash prizes. It also highlights how different combinations and series can affect winnings.

According to the results, the main prize went to ticket number 81 with series 571. Those holding a full ticket with this combination will receive ¢175 million. However, those who have a ticket with number 81 but a different series are also winners and will receive ¢130,000 per full ticket.

The second prize was awarded to number 98 with series 635, offering ¢30 million per full ticket. Holders of a full ticket for number 98 in another series will get ¢40,000.

The third most important prize went to number 92 with series 500. Winners in this category will collect ¢14 million per full ticket. If someone holds only a full ticket for number 92 but not in series 500, they are entitled to ¢20,000.

Lottery draws like these provide an opportunity for participants across Costa Rica to win substantial amounts and often attract widespread attention.
