Shortly after, La Nación shared another update regarding JAPDEVA, the Atlantic Port Authority. The tweet stated: “Martín Vargas, licenciado en Derecho y máster en Administración de Empresas, fue nombrado como presidente ejecutivo de la Junta de Administración Portuaria y de Desarrollo Económico de la Vertiente Atlántica de Costa Rica (Japdeva).

A third tweet from La Nación addressed Incofer’s leadership: ” Álvaro Bermúdez continúa como presidente del Incofer https://t.co/YViFKTF7iE” (May 5, 2026), confirming that Álvaro Bermúdez will continue as president of INCOFER, the Costa Rican Railway Institute.
SINART is responsible for managing state-owned radio and television broadcasting services in Costa Rica. JAPDEVA oversees port operations and economic development along the country’s Atlantic coast. INCOFER manages rail transportation infrastructure and services nationwide.
