La Nación, a prominent Costa Rican newspaper, shared updates on New Year’s celebrations and international recognitions in a series of posts dated December 31, 2025.

In its first post, La Nación reported on the global order of New Year arrivals: “Año Nuevo: estos son los países que lo recibieron primero y los que recibirán de último el 2026 https://t.co/5URH0Mb1di” (December 31, 2025).

The second post highlighted Latin America’s presence in a recent travel ranking: “Dos países de Latinoamérica aparecen en la lista de los 15 países más bellos del mundo por su naturaleza, según una selección publicada por la revista especializada ‘Travel + Leisure’. https://t.co/SQrHPPrGbM” (December 31, 2025). Travel + Leisure is an internationally recognized magazine that frequently publishes rankings and features about destinations worldwide.

In its third update, La Nación focused on local broadcasting traditions: “Este año, el locutor Padre Mix cumple 16 años de recibir el Año Nuevo al aire y adelantó algunos de los detalles que traerá esta transmisión especial. https://t.co/5E3r6JBQva” (December 31, 2025). The mention of Padre Mix refers to a well-known radio host in Costa Rica who has established a tradition of live broadcasts during New Year’s Eve for over a decade.
