La Nación reports conviction of Pablo Arboine related to car accident

La Nación, a prominent Costa Rican news outlet, reported on November 19, 2025, that Pablo Arboine, defender for Deportivo Saprissa, has been convicted in relation to a car accident.

According to a post published at 21:40 UTC on November 19, La Nación stated: “Pablo Arboine, defensa del Deportivo Saprissa, fue acusado en diciembre del 2020 por accidente en el que una persona perdió una pierna.” The tweet indicates that the accusation against Arboine stemmed from an incident in December 2020 where a person lost a leg as a result of the accident.

Shortly after, at 21:44 UTC the same day, La Nación followed up with another report: “Golpe a Saprissa: Pablo Arboine condenado por accidente automovilístico”. This post confirms that Arboine was found guilty for his involvement in the traffic accident.

In addition to the coverage of Arboine’s case, La Nación also posted about employment opportunities at Ferreterías EPA. At 21:44 UTC on November 19, they wrote: “Ferreterías EPA tiene variedad de puestos de trabajo: así puede aplicar hoy mismo”.

Pablo Arboine is a professional football player who has played as a defender for Deportivo Saprissa. The club is one of Costa Rica’s most successful and widely supported football teams.
