La Nación, a prominent Costa Rican news outlet, published several updates on November 11, 2025, covering incidents both domestic and international.

In one post, La Nación reported that Dutch customs authorities discovered a significant quantity of narcotics concealed in machinery shipped from Costa Rica. According to the tweet dated November 11, 2025: “La Aduana de Países Bajos halló 583 kilos de cocaína ocultos en una máquina enviada desde Costa Rica, según el Ministerio Público de ese país.”

On the same day, La Nación shared information about a traffic accident in Cartago. The tweet stated: “Choque frontal de dos vehículos en Cartago deja dos personas atrapadas” (November 11, 2025).

Additionally, La Nación commented on an entertainment event involving Katherine Campbell. The tweet read: “‘Mira quién baila’: así fue el ‘regaño’ del coreógrafo a Katherine Campbell en vivo” (November 11, 2025).

The discovery of cocaine by Dutch customs highlights ongoing concerns about drug trafficking routes between Latin America and Europe. Costa Rica has previously been identified as a transit country for narcotics destined for European markets.

Cartago is one of Costa Rica’s main provinces and frequently experiences heavy road traffic. Accidents involving trapped passengers often prompt emergency responses from local authorities.

“Mira quién baila” is a televised dance competition popular in Spanish-speaking countries. Incidents involving participants or judges sometimes generate public interest due to the show’s high viewership.
