La Nación, a prominent Costa Rican newspaper, published a series of posts on April 11, 2026, providing updates on the Artemis II mission and sharing insights about astronaut Franklin Chang-Díaz.

In two consecutive posts, La Nación reported on the recovery operations for the Artemis II mission. On April 11, 2026, it posted: “Artemis II: Buques se acercan a nave Orion para extraer a los astronautas y evaluarlos https://t.co/Ul09eBDU44”. Minutes later, another post reiterated this information: “Artemis II: Buques se acercan a nave Orion para extraer a los astronautas y evaluarlos https://t.co/8pYr6HBkss”.

Later that day, La Nación highlighted an experience from Costa Rican-American astronaut Franklin Chang-Díaz’s career. The post read: ” Sumergido en un sueño: el momento que Franklin Chang-Díaz no ha podido olvidar de sus siete misiones al espacio https://t.co/HbuvbJ0LH8″ (April 11, 2026).

The Artemis II mission is part of NASA’s broader Artemis program aimed at returning humans to the Moon and eventually enabling future missions to Mars.
