La Nación, a major Costa Rican newspaper, posted several updates on January 24 and 25, 2026, covering political activities ahead of the country’s upcoming elections.

In a tweet dated January 25, 2026, La Nación reported: “Caravana, consignas y piquete marcaron una actividad política en apoyo a Laura Fernández. Vea las fotos y video.” The post highlighted demonstrations and events supporting Laura Fernández.

Later that evening, the outlet shared another update: “Las declaraciones de Robles se dieron pasadas las 5 p. m. de este 24 de enero en la actividad de cierre de campaña”. This tweet referenced statements made by Robles during a campaign closing event.

The message urged voters to learn about leading candidates before heading to the polls.

Costa Rica is preparing for general elections scheduled in early February 2026. As one of the country’s primary news sources, La Nación regularly provides coverage of political campaigns and electoral developments.
