The first update reported the approval of a significant distribution to depositors: “Aprueban distribución de ¢25.500 millones entre 195 depositantes no garantizados de Desyfin; queda pendiente un monto similar” (September 12, 2025). According to La Nación, this decision involves distributing ¢25.5 billion among 195 uninsured depositors of Desyfin. A similar amount remains pending for future distribution.

In another post on the same day, La Nación informed readers about an incident involving a public figure’s digital account: “Rodrigo Arias pierde su cuenta de WhatsApp: esta es la razón” (September 12, 2025).

Additionally, the newspaper highlighted an upcoming cultural event at one of Costa Rica’s most renowned venues: “Con ‘Contrapunto’, Karime Amaya trae al Teatro Nacional la fuerza pura del flamenco” (September 12, 2025).

Desyfin is a financial services company in Costa Rica that has previously faced regulatory scrutiny related to its operations and depositor guarantees. The Teatro Nacional is a historic theater in San José known for hosting major national and international performances.
