On February 10, La Nación shared information about an international criminal case: ” Caso de 89 violaciones a menores alrededor del mundo estremece a Francia: Así lo descubrió el sobrino del sospechoso https://t.co/m4ppI7pXDP”. The tweet highlighted the discovery of 89 cases of child sexual abuse around the world that have shocked France. According to the post, it was the suspect’s nephew who uncovered the crimes.

Later that day, La Nación reported on another violent incident: ” Doble homicidio en Gavilias de Desamparados tras incidente armado https://t.co/LXYqvu7lkK”. This tweet described a double homicide that occurred following an armed altercation in Gavilias de Desamparados.

In a subsequent update, La Nación posted about another crime involving gun violence: ” ‘Creí que era un asalto’: testigo relata terror tras asesinato en gimnasio de Cartago https://t.co/b0xTHjCzGE”. The message quoted a witness who said they thought it was a robbery during the fatal shooting at a gym in Cartago.
