Later the same evening, La Nación shared news of a fatal accident involving a cyclist: “Ciclista muere tras ser arrollado por un tráiler en la ruta 32; tránsito colapsado” (January 22, 2026).

A subsequent update detailed another road incident: “Un motociclista murió la noche de este miércoles tras ser colisionado por un vehículo liviano en Quebradilla de Cartago, cerca del cruce de Bermejo.” (January 22, 2026).
