In a post at 03:57 UTC, La Nación shared news of a homicide in Cartago: ” Violento homicidio en gimnasio de Cartago: víctima fue baleada mientras se ejercitaba https://t.co/m2sBtdKsVP”.

Later that morning at 05:06 UTC, the outlet reported another violent incident in Matina: ” Violencia sacude Matina: mujer muere en ataque armado https://t.co/cGqAfa8jq8″.

Between these reports of violence, La Nación also addressed concerns about digital security.
