La Nación, a major Costa Rican newspaper, published several updates on January 13, 2026, covering sports, entertainment, and politics.

In one post dated January 13, 2026, La Nación shared coverage of reactions from the football club Alajuelense regarding media predictions for the upcoming Torneo de Clausura: “Así reacciona Alajuelense a los pronósticos de la prensa para el Torneo de Clausura 2026 https://t.co/4NMXeCC0dt”.

Later that day, La Nación posted about Gloria Bejarano, former First Lady of Costa Rica. The tweet reads: “Vea a Gloria Bejarano, exprimera dama de Costa Rica, cumplir un divertido reto de TikTok https://t.co/IyZwR9WCS8”. Bejarano served as First Lady during the presidency of Rafael Ángel Calderón Fournier in the early 1990s.

The newspaper also provided information on an electoral event organized by the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE), stating: “Debate presidencial del TSE: Estos son cinco candidatos que se presentarán esta noche, siga aquí los detalles https://t.co/kybbfEY49x”. The TSE is responsible for overseeing elections in Costa Rica and organizing official presidential debates.
