Man dies after being shot inside vehicle near gym in Hatillo

A man died on April 8 after being shot while driving a vehicle near the Intenza gym in Hatillo, San José. The incident was reported at 6:43 p.m., and emergency services responded to the scene.

The case highlights ongoing concerns about public safety and violence in the area. According to authorities, the man was found with multiple gunshot wounds inside his car. When the Red Cross arrived, they confirmed that he showed no signs of life.

The Fuerza Pública attended the scene following reports of gunfire. Later, personnel from the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ) removed the body and transferred it to the Judicial Morgue for further examination.

At this time, officials have not determined a motive or provided details about how the events unfolded. Investigations into both circumstances remain ongoing.
