Man fatally shot from moving vehicle in Carrandí de Matina

A man was shot and killed in Carrandí de Matina on Monday night, according to police sources. Authorities reported that the incident occurred just before 8 p.m., when gunshots were heard following the passage of a moving vehicle.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers found a man with multiple gunshot wounds to his abdomen. The individual, whose identity has not been confirmed, was discovered on a deserted and dark street in the community.

Police have launched operations in the area to locate the vehicle believed to have been used by those responsible for the shooting. The case is now being handled by agents from the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ), who are collecting evidence and managing the removal of the body as part of their investigation.

“The scene was taken over by agents from the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ) for proper removal of the body and collection of evidence that will help clarify what happened,” authorities stated.
