The Ministry of Health announced that the II Festival de Salud Mental will take place at Estadio Nacional on March 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

The festival aims to provide a space for children, youth, and adults to participate in activities that promote healthy habits and self-care. The day will begin with an inaugural ceremony at 9:00 a.m., followed by various participatory sessions such as laughter therapy, percussion storytelling, art therapy, cognitive stimulation, sleep wellness workshops, an art gallery, and vital signs checks.

Attendees can also join cardio dance and zumba classes designed for families to encourage physical activity as part of overall well-being. Organizers say these dynamic activities are intended to foster community engagement and support mental health.

According to the Ministry of Health, the goal of the II Festival de Salud Mental is “to create spaces for gathering and recreation that help strengthen the mental health of the population.” The ministry invites everyone in the community to attend and enjoy a day dedicated to well-being, social interaction, and mental health promotion.

The event will be held at Estadio Nacional in San José. For more information about schedules or participation, individuals can contact the Ministry of Health during business hours.
