The Ministry of National Planning and Economic Policy of Costa Rica (MIDEPLAN) has recently highlighted several initiatives through its official Twitter account, focusing on public investment, international cooperation, and technical assistance in policy evaluation.

On April 28, 2026, MIDEPLAN shared the results of a study analyzing national investments: “#PlanificaciónRegional | El estudio “Inversión pública en las regiones 2020–2024”, analiza la ejecución de más de ₡1,2 billones en 681 proyectos en todo el país. The following day, April 29, 2026, the ministry reported on its support to another nation in strengthening public policy systems: “#EvaluaciónySeguimiento | Mideplan brinda asistencia técnica a República Dominicana para fortalecer su sistema de evaluación de políticas públicas. On April 30, 2026, MIDEPLAN addressed international collaboration for migrant integration: “#CooperaciónInternacional | Costa Rica y el Gran Ducado de Luxemburgo fortalecen la cooperación para la integración de personas migrantes mediante el proyecto CONVIVE. MIDEPLAN is responsible for coordinating Costa Rica’s national planning system and advising on development policies. The ministry also leads efforts in regional development and manages international cooperation projects with countries such as Luxembourg and organizations in Latin America.
