The Ministerio de Hacienda de Costa Rica published a series of posts on its official X account in early September 2025, offering resources and advice related to product security and digital safety.

On September 2, 2025, the Ministry shared a post linking to its social media presence: https://t.co/PzlzShFY3v. Later that day, the Ministry addressed consumer safety when purchasing internet-connected devices. In its post from September 2, 2025, it stated: “ĀæVa a comprar un dispositivo conectado a Internet? El ComitĆ© de Seguridad de Producto le da consejos para proteger su seguridad de los dispositivos fĆ­sicos que estĆ”n integrados con sensores, software y otras tecnologĆ­as para conectarse e intercambiar datos por medio de Internet. https://t.co/zvvatofayx”.

On September 3, 2025, the Ministry provided access to an official document through another post: “Para conocer el documento ingrese en el siguiente enlace: Ā https://t.co/37vUFIxIxZ https://t.co/WwCc4nc2RM”.

The Ministerio de Hacienda is responsible for managing Costa Rica’s public finances and regularly uses its communication channels to share updates on fiscal policy, regulatory guidance, and consumer information.
