The Ministerio de Hacienda de Costa Rica has issued a series of public announcements on its official Twitter account in early February 2026, providing information about citizen engagement tools and upcoming events.

On February 3, 2026, the ministry encouraged citizens to report complaints through their web application by stating: “DENUNCIE YA Para acceder a la aplicación web para denuncias ciudadanas DENUNCIE YA ingrese en el siguiente enlace: https://t.co/CvemyWcQ4I https://t.co/LInHKdJTG2”.

Two days later, on February 4, the ministry shared instructions for participating in an event, writing: “Para participar solo debe conectarse el dĆ­a del evento en el siguiente enlace: https://t.co/owB8JGxv2v https://t.co/jnTbK703Rs”.

On February 5, another post was published that only included a link: “https://t.co/86J4iIdJw2”.

The Ministerio de Hacienda is responsible for overseeing fiscal policy and financial administration in Costa Rica. Its efforts to facilitate citizen reporting and participation are part of broader initiatives to improve transparency and civic engagement within the country’s public sector.
