The Ministerio de Salud de Costa Rica used its official Twitter account on September 11, 2025, to share a series of messages focused on suicide prevention and mental health awareness. The posts highlighted the importance of self-care, peer support, and the need for educational and emotional resources among young people.

In a tweet published early in the day, the ministry stated: ” Tu vida es tu mayor proyecto: cuídala.

Later that afternoon, another message emphasized community support: ” Entre compañeros nos cuidamos.

(September 11, 2025).

These messages align with global public health concerns about youth suicide rates and emphasize both preventive strategies and the role of education in supporting mental well-being.
