The Ministerio de Salud de Costa Rica has recently used its official Twitter account to address a range of public health and environmental issues. The ministry’s posts, published between April 30 and May 2, 2026, emphasize the importance of community action in waste management, workplace health promotion, and asthma awareness.
On April 30, the ministry highlighted the role of community organization in environmental sustainability.
A day later, on May 1, the ministry reaffirmed its dedication to occupational health.
On May 2, attention shifted to respiratory health with an emphasis on asthma control.
Costa Rica’s Ministry of Health regularly communicates through social media to promote public health initiatives and encourage behaviors that benefit both individuals and communities. Its messaging aligns with national efforts to reduce landfill use through recycling programs and improve overall population well-being by supporting healthy workplaces and raising awareness about chronic diseases such as asthma.
