The Ministerio de Salud de Costa Rica has used its official Twitter account to promote public health and environmental awareness through a series of posts in early April 2026. The tweets focus on kidney health, responsible waste management, and community composting initiatives.
On April 1, 2026, the ministry emphasized the importance of kidney care by stating: “Cuidar los riñones es clave para mantener el cuerpo en equilibrio.
A day later, on April 2, 2026, the ministry addressed waste management practices with the following message: “Aplicar las 3R —reducir, reutilizar y reciclar— ayuda a manejar mejor los residuos.
The concept of “reduce, reuse, recycle,” commonly known as the three Rs, is widely recognized for minimizing environmental impact and encouraging resource conservation.
On April 3, 2026, the ministry highlighted community involvement in sustainable practices by posting: ҉ۢ
The Ministerio de Salud de Costa Rica regularly uses its social media platforms to inform citizens about preventive health measures and environmental stewardship.
